So much of what we hear about using weights and most online strength training information is targeted towards men, usually guys who are primarily interested in becoming really large and muscular.

Weight Training IS for Women

Some of us may think that lifting weights is a physical activity reserved for men, or that this particular form of exercising will make us look like the big musclebound guys we've seen at the gym.

On the contrary, strength training for women with free weights and machines is one of the best ways to help us reach our fitness and weight loss goals.

Women of all ages - from teens to females over 40, 50, 60 and even 70 - have discovered that weight training exercises are among the absolute best for:
